Pawan Prasad Yadav began buying and sorting scrap in Kathmandu Valley in 1999. Over the years he saw the same problem again and again: families never knew what their scrap was really worth, and hand-held spring scales left everyone guessing.

Hamro Kabadi is the answer to that — a published rate card, certified digital scales carried to your door, and payment before we leave. From our yard at Boje Pokhari Marg, Lalitpur 44600, Nepal, we collect metals, paper, plastics and electronics and send them on to licensed recyclers.

Every kilo we collect is a kilo that stays out of the valley’s landfill — and money back in the pocket of the household that sorted it.
